Is it possible to join this if you don’t have a degree? I was going through application seems you can’t advance without it.

Yes. The Pathway program takes two forms and it is not always clear in the materials offered online, there is the Cadet program for college students and the Cadet program for Rotor transition (RTP) guys like you and me. Without a doubt I recommend all RTAGers sign up for the Cadet program as this will start your company seniority and pay-scale once you attend what SkyWest calls Employment Center, basically an orientation day.

How does one get in to the cadet program as an RTAG guy? Is it just applying through the RTP website ?

Apply for it on their website. I’m a NG guy and just went last month. Overall I’d recommend it. It’s a pretty laid back event. 95% of the people at the “orientation” will be college age CFIs. The company seniority makes it worth it though. Happy to answer any questions anyone has about the event or process. Should be interviewing in the next month or two. CJOs are good for two years and they give you the $20k tuition reimbursement 4 months out from your class date.
